Jessica Anna Receives Faculty Fellowship

Anna, who joined the department earlier this year, has been named an Elliman Faculty Fellow. Created by a gift from David Elliman, C’73, WG’77, and Dr. Andrea Branch through the BAWD Foundation, the fellowships provide startup support for faculty specializing in ways to bring renewable energy sources to market.

Penn Chemistry hosts first ACES Event

Joe Subotnik has been promoted to Associate Professor with tenure. Joe's group focuses on three different areas in chemical physics: electron and energy transfer, molecular conduction, and electronic structure theory with an emphasis on excited states. Joe joined the department in 2010.

Jeff Saven Promoted to Professor

Jeffery Saven has been promoted to the rank of Professor. Jeff's group uses primarily theory and computation to study biomolecules, polymers, and condensed phase systems. Most of the research involves the application of statistical mechanics to liquids and macromolecules. Jeff joined the Chemistry Department in 1997.
