Penn Chemistry personnel were lauded with a series of end of academic year honors this month. Lecturer Anthony Cirri has received the Dean's Award for Distinguished Teaching by Affiliated Faculty from the School of Arts & Sciences. Prof. Tobias Baumgart received The Dennis DeTurck Award for Innovation in Teaching from SAS and the Charles Ludwig Distinguished Teaching Award from the Student Committee for Undergraduate Education and Alumni Society. Prof. Zahra Fakhraai received the Trustees Council of Penn Women Award for Undergraduate Advising. Graduate student Cassandra Vu (Kozlowski Group) received a Dean’s Award for Distinguished Teaching by Graduate Students and Kevin Ruoff (Schelter Group) received the Dean’s Scholar Award.
