Chemistry Students Honored by National Science Foundation

Bren Cole (Schelter group), Vincius Ferreira (Baumgart group), and Dahlia Klein (Murray group) have been awarded fellowships in the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP).


Nicole Bellonzi (Subotnik group), Tyler Higgins (Winkler group), Alex Kellum (Smith group), and Stan Najmr (Murray group) all received honorable mentions.


Since 1952, the program has recognized and supported outstanding graduate students who are pursuing research-based graduate degrees in fields within NSF's mission. The GRFP provides three years of support for the graduate education of individuals who have demonstrated their potential for significant achievements in science and engineering research.
