Prof. Amos B. Smith continues to be recognized for his lifetime of contributions to organic chemistry and chemical education.
Amos has been selected as member of the inaugural class of Fellows of the American Chemical Society. The ACS Fellows have demonstrated excellence in their contributions to the chemical sciences and in service to the ACS and the chemistry community. The 2009 Fellows will be honored at a special ceremony during the ACS National Meeting in Washington, DC.
