Recent work by Prof. Madeleine Joullié and Dr. Jisun Lee has been featured in Chemistry World on the total synthesis and structure of ceanothine D. A cyclopeptide alkaloid, ceanothine D can be found in the "red root" tea plant, a long-time traditional folk medicine used to treat a variety of ailments.
