Assistant Professor Neil Tomson has been awarded a New Investigator Grant by the Kauffman Foundation for research on “Coordination chemistry and catalysis using molecular-scale electric fields”. The grant is part of $1.8 million in grants awarded to support basic research in biology, chemistry and physics by the Charles E. Kaufman Foundation, one of The Pittsburgh Foundation’s charitable entities.
