Marisa Kozlowski named ACS Fellow

Marisa Kozlowski is one of 96 distinguished members of the American Chemical Society to be named a 2013 ACS Fellows. The 2013 Fellows represent 28 National Committees, 30 Divisions, and 49 Local Sections of the ACS. The induction ceremony for the 2013 Fellows will be held at the 246th ACS National Meeting in Indianapolis, IN on Monday, September 9, 2013.

 

Her citation reads: 

 

Contribution to the science/profession: Has made important advances in new chemical reaction methods. Put forth the use of new computational methods for the design and evaluation of ligands for reactions.

 

Contribution to the ACS community: Has a strong record of service in the organic chemistry community, serving on editorial boards, study sections, and as an officer for the Division of Organic Chemistry.
