Prof. Feng Gai has been elected as a Fellow of the American Physical Society.
The citation, which will be published in the March 2012 issue of APS News, reads as follows: "For his pioneering contributions to the field of protein folding, in particular the innovative use of infrared spectroscopy and the novel development of vibrational probes to elucidate the fundamental folding mechanism."
