The Chemistry 1973 building provides Penn with 120,000 sq ft of research, teaching, and office space. This 6 floor building houses research space representing all of the academic disciplines in the Department as well as the main administration offices, all classrooms, the Mass Spec, X-Ray, High Throughput Experimentation, NMR facilities, and the Chemistry library. This building houses 17 faculty offices, a number of small conference rooms and the Chemistry Department Nobel Hall. The building also hosts the Philadelphia section of the ACS, the Journal of Chemical Physics, and Organic Letters.
