Marsha Lester, Edmund J. Kahn Distinguished Professor, and Gary Molander, Hirschmann-Makineni Professor of Chemistry and Department Chair, have both been selected as members of the second class of Fellows of the American Chemical Society.
Also selected were Penn Chemistry Alums Magid Abou-Gharbia and Rigoberto Hernandez.
ACS Fellows have demonstrated excellence in their contributions to the chemical sciences and in service to the ACS and the chemistry community. The 2010 Fellows will be honored at a special ceremony on Monday, August 23 during the ACS National Meeting in Boston.
