Materials Chemistry
Description
Research in materials chemistry is highly interdisciplinary, and Penn's long tradition of forefront materials research is in large measure due to facilities and support for collaborative projects provided by the Laboratory for Research on the Structure of Matter (LRSM). Research areas involve the design, synthesis and characterization of functional biomolecular materials, complex oxides, and soft materials.
