NMR Facility
The NMR Facility consists of ten Bruker superconducting spectrometers ranging in field strength from 7 to 14.1 telsa (300-600MHZ) We have six 500Mhz spectrometers configured for a wide range of nuclei with consoles varying from AMX, DMx to DRX and from two to four channels. Special probes included are a HR MAS probe and a LC inverse broadband probe. Lower field spectrometers consists of DMX 300,360, and 400 two –channel machines running either four nuclei (QNP ) probes or broadband direct or inverse detection probes The highest field machines are a 4-channel DMX 600 and a DMX 500 running inverse proton/carbon/nitrogen probes for biological samples. NIH funding has recently been received to replaced the oldest 500Mhz consoles and add a Cold (Cryogenic ) probe for the highest sensitivity Carbon-13 experiments.
